摘要
博喻是英、汉语中都较为常见的修辞方式。本文以诸多实例 ,从表达方式、修辞作用等方面对英、汉语的博喻进行了较为详尽的比较。
Sustained metaphor is one of the most popular figures of speech both in English and Chinese.By adopting many examples,this paper compares English and Chinese sustained metaphor in detail from their expressing ways and the rhetorical functions,etc.
