摘要
地理信息分类是地理信息标准化的一个重要组成部分。本文在分析原有地理信息分类方法的基础上,从认知分类法和分类学出发,详细阐述了本体分类法,并以自然地理要素中的水系为例,进行了本体分类实验研究。着重强调在分类过程中,综合考虑认知、本体及语义等多种因素对要素分类;当某一要素按照不同的归类方法隶属不同要素时,采用本体方法分类具有一定的适用性。
Classification of geographical information is the key issue in construction of a geographic information infrastructure. A classification method based on ontology is introduced, combining with principles of cognitivecategorizationand taxonomy. As an example, hydrologicalfeatures-a kind of fundamental geographical information is studied here, through which it is found that the more suitable semantic relationship among and hierarchyof the features could be achievedbased on an ontological classification.
