摘要
本文介绍了SCSI光盘塔 (SCSICDTower)、网络光盘塔 (NetworkCDTower)、网络光盘镜像服务器(NetworkCDServer)、光盘库 (OpticalJukebox)等用于数字图书馆光盘存储产品的结构和主要性能 ,并从光盘服务器同时支持并发访问用户的数量、对多媒体的支持、系统管理和安全体系、对各种网络操作系统和网络结构的支持、存储容量和性价比等多个方面 ,给出了选择光盘服务器的基本原则。
This paper is intended to introduce the structure and functions of CD storage products used in digital library:SCSI CD tower,Network CD tower,Network CD server,optical Jukebox,etc.The author holds that selection principles for CD servers should be based on the following aspects:number of simultaneous users,support of multimedia,system management and security system,support to different network operation systems and net work structures,storage amount,and function price ratio,etc.
