摘要
本文在Cho等人的工作的基础上,利用FGGE(?)资料对1979年8月发生在20°N、从印度到西太平洋区域的一次强ITCZ过程进行了诊断分析,结果表明:(1)根据Cho的方案计算所得的积云质量通量能较好地反映积云对流的活动情况。(2)积云对流在大气压低层造成视涡度汇,在高层造成视涡度源,这样的结果将使低层正涡度减弱。
Based on Cho's work, a strong ITCZ that occurred in Aug. , 1979 along 20°N from the Indian Subcontinent to the western pacific Ocean is diagnosed and analysed using FGGEⅢb data. The results show that:(l)the cumulus convection can be represented well by the computed cumulus mass flux. (2) Due to the cumulus convection, there is an apparent vorticity source to increase positive vorticity at high level and an apparent vorticity sink to reduce positive vorticity at low level.
