A parallel FEM on multitransputer systems is discussed in detail. With substructure stra-tegy, the structure at hand is first decomposed, the nodes of each substructure are then num-bered by one-way dissection. The regulations numbering nodes are suggested. Centered onthe parallel processing technique of preconditioning, two parallel preconditioned CG me-thods are proposed. The example shows that both methods are effective.
