天气风险是指未来天气的不期变化引起经济单位收益的不确定性变动。天气风险市场是通过衍生合同对天气风险进行分割、重组和交易的经济机制,是金融市场的一个新兴领域,近年发展迅速。在我国发展天气风险市场,将有利于减少我国宏观经济波动的外部因素,有助于电力市场的建立,有利于我国参与金融市场的国际竞争,有利于我国企业提高国际市场竞争力。
Weather risks are the uncertain volatility of the yields produced by unexpected weather changes. Weather risk market is a kind of mechanism for partitioning and transaction of weather risks. It is a burgeoning branch growing from the financial tree and is booming in market-based countries in the world. It is helpful to reduce the exogenous sources stirring Chinese macroeconomy. Motivating the development of weather risk market in China can help the foundation of power markets and enhancing the competition edge of the Chinese firms in the domestic and abroad market.
