摘要 Paleoethnobotany is recognized as an integral part of archaeological research. It is important to understand the object and contents of paleoethnobotanical study in order to properly and thoroughly apply paleoethnobotany in our work. As a subdiscipline of archaeology, the study of paleoethnobotany focuses on problems of archaeology by examining the interrelationship between man race and plants, such as the study of ancient subsistence patterns, the development of economic systems and social structures in the past, environmental reconstruction, etc. In fact, the study of paleoethnobotany involves many important questions in which archaeologists concern themselves.
