本文主要从下列十九个方面对日本的历史地理学进行了述评 :(1)日本历史地理学研究的起源 ,(2 )京都大学历史地理学研究中心的形成 ,(3)研究资料及方法 ,(4 )与日本历史地理学发展有关的学会 ,(5 )史前地理 ,(6)条里制 ,(7)景观变迁 ,(8)城市 ,(9)聚落 ,(10 )交通 ,(11)人口 ,(12 )农业与灌溉 ,(13)森林与渔业 ,(14)工商业 ,(15 )政治 ,(16)历史地理学中之符号和语意学的新发展 ,(17)区域研究 ,(18)其他方面历史地理学的研究 ,(19)
Due to various reasons,Chinese scholars are notvery knowledgeable aboutthe development of historical geography in Japan.Chinese literature on the subject is meager.There are only a few works dealing exclusively with this topic.This paper intends to ameliorate this deficiency; dealing with different aspects of the historical geography in Japan,namely:(1) the origin of Japanese historical geography,(2 ) the formation of the historical georaphy research center of the Kyoto University,(3) research materials and methods,(4) academic societies,(5 ) prdhistoric geography studies,(6 ) studiesof the jorisysten,(7) the study of landscape changes,(8) the study of cities and towns,(9) settlement studies,(10 ) transportation studies,(11) population studies, (12 ) agricultural and irrigation studies,(13) studiesofforestand fishing,(14) studies of industries and commerce,(15 ) political studies,(16 ) studies of semiotics and semantics in historical geography,(17) regional studies of historical geography of Japan,(18) Southeast Asian and European studies,and(19) methodological studies
