摘要
传媒具有情况沟通和意见联系的功能。一个社会的传媒功能发挥如何,直接关系到促进还是阻碍社会群体内部的传播与交流。而检测传媒功能的重要标准之一就是看政府、媒体和公众三者关系的动态平衡。传媒是一柄双刃剑,一方面它受控于国家,是政府手中的工具、传声筒;另一方面,它作为国家权力的组成部分,以新闻报道和舆论导向的方式控制着社会,控制着民众,媒体时常都处于"双刃剑"的考验之下。一个称职的媒体必须在公众与政府之间构筑一个畅通的信息交流平台。
Mass media have functions of communication and connection. How mass media function in society directly promotes or frustrates the propaganda and exchange of opinions within social groups. An important standard to examine their function is the dynamic equilibrium among government, mass media and the public. Mass media are a double-edged sword: on the one hand, they are controlled by the country; on the other hand, they are part of national power, controlling society and people by means of news report and guidance of public opinion. Mass media are often tested by this double-edged sword. A qualified news organ must construct a smooth information exchange platform between the public and the government.
