摘要
在现代教育中,实验教学占有非常重要的地位,如何构建网上虚拟实验室是一个具有挑战性的课题。文章介绍了虚拟现实技术、虚拟现实系统结构和虚拟现实建模语言(VRML),在此基础上分析了构建网上虚拟实验室的拓扑结构、实现方案、Web数据库的解决方案和使用VRML技术进行三维虚拟实验室开发的方法,然后对网络环境下虚拟实验室构建后在远程教学中的意义进行了叙述。
This article first gives an introduction of virtual reality technology, its systematic structure and Virtual Reality Model Language (VRML).Then, it analyzes the topology structure and puts forward a preliminary solution project based on Web database, it also proposes to set up three - dimensional virtual reality laboratory with VRML technology. Finally, it describes its significance in distance education.
