高职高专英语专业学生课外阅读的实验性研究 被引量:3

An Empirical Study on the After- Class English Reading Activities of the Enghlish Major High Vocational Students

摘要 对课外阅读的理论作了阐述。在所执教的班级中做了一次关于英语阅读活动的调查。选择上海第二工业大学的53名英语专业学生作为研究对象。研究过程使用了问卷调查和面谈两种实验方法。实验了解了学生课外阅读的实际情况,分析了存在的问题和原因,给出了课外英语阅读的时间和英语熟练程度的相关性并得出结论:虽然很多学生都对英语学习感兴趣,但他们的阅读中仍然存在着一些问题。英语教师应该给他们一些适当的指导来提高他们的英语水平。 Looked into the theory of after-class English reading and a survey was conducted in anthors class to reveal the real situation of the students after-class English reading. Fifty three students of English major in Shanghai Second Polytechnic university were selected as the research sample and questionnaires and interviews were two approaches involved in this study. Analyzed the existing problems and causes and got correlation between students after-class English reading and their English level; made empirical study and came to the conclusion: Most students are interested in English reading but there still exist some problems. English teachers should give them some proper guide for the purpose of improving their English proficiency.
