摘要
在《瓦尔登湖》中 ,梭罗指出人们由于物质欲望的膨胀而忽视了精神生活的提高 ,导致人类崇高精神的衰微。并且因此而使人们的行为缺乏理性的约束和审慎的思考 ,从而加剧了对自然的破坏和掠夺。书中还强调自然的独立价值 ,反对把自然的价值仅归结为经济和实用的价值 ,强调自然的审美意义和精神意义。认为自然万物是相互联系的统一的整体 ,人是自然界中普通的一员 。
In Walden,Thoreau pointed out people's noble mind had been become inferior because they focus their thoughts on making money and enjoy all sorts of convenient facilities.He also emphasized the world of organism had independent value,and human being was only one part of natural world.
