In order to strengthen the management of the project of controlling Yangtse River, and reflect the evolvement of the Zhen-yang riverbed in time and find the rule of the development, and realize the modernization of the construction of the project 、the management of information 、the means of scientific research, the purpose, environments and the functions are mentioned of establishing GIS of Zhen-yang reach. the riverbed evolvement is analyzed using the system.
