摘要
本文对印度恒河豚、日本海江豚、东海江豚、真海豚和南方宽吻海豚的小肾和肾小球进行了测量和计数,并对小肾结构指数做了测定。结果表明,江豚、真海豚和南方宽吻海豚的相对肾重和小肾数明显大于恒河豚;真海豚和宽吻海豚的肾小球总数远大于江豚和恒河豚,恒河豚最少。但总的肾小球表面积、每克体重的肾小球表面积均低于相当体重的陆生哺乳动物。鲸类肾脏的小肾化虽然增加了肾小球的数量,但并没有增加肾的滤过面积。几种齿鲸的小肾结构指故无一定规律.也没有发现它与环境盐度的对应关系。因此,对于鲸类肾脏如何适应它们旺盛的生理代谢和小肾结构指数与肾浓缩能力的关系还需进一步研究。
Measurment and enumeration of renculi and glomeruli and determination of thevalue of rencular structural indices,including relative medullary thickness(RMT),per-centmedullary thickness(PMT),relative medullary area(RMA),percent medullary area(PMA),percent papilla thickness(PPT),and percent papilla area(PPA),were studied onthe kidneys of Ganges susu,Platanista gangetica from india,finless porpoises,Neophocaenaphocaenoides from Japan Sea and East China Sea,Common dolphins,Delphinus delphis andBottlenosed dophins,Tursiops nuuanu from South China Sea.The results show that the rel-ative kidney weight and number of renculi of finless porpoises,common dolphins and bot-tlenosed dolphins were much larger than that of ganges susu.Total number of glomeruli ofcommon dophins and bottlenosed dophins were also much larger than that of finless porpois-es and ganges susu.But total surface area of glomeruli and volume of glomeruli per gram ofthere cetaceans were less than those of terrestrial mammals of about the epual size.Al-though the reinoulation of kidney of cetaceans increases the number of glomeruli,the renalfuntional surface were not enlarged.The regularty and direct correlation with the salinity ofthe environment of rencular structural indices were not found.
