The 2008 Olympic Games being held in Beijing offers a great opportunity for China to enter the world. Olympic spirits of equality, justness, friendship and peace will give much more influence on China's social economy and culture than the gold medals do. The organization of the Games will provide a strong impetus to China's economic development at the turning point of the new century, bring China with a great opportunity to promote her moral civilization, and offer a better environment for her comprehensive development.
