摘要
目的 :研究中药补肾合剂对牙周炎大鼠体内性激素水平的影响并探讨其作用机制。方法 :选用 10月龄SD大鼠80只 ,随机分成 3组 ,正常对照组 16只 ;牙周炎造模型对照组 4 0只 ;中药治疗组 2 4只。分别于造模型完成后、中药治疗前、中药治疗结束后 0天、6周、18周 ,分 5批处死实验大鼠。应用放射免疫技术测定外周血中雌二醇及睾酮含量。同时观察各阶段大鼠的生活状态。结果 :牙周炎造模型组性激素水平明显低于正常组 ;中药治疗组性激素水平明显高于牙周炎造模型对照组。结论 :补肾合剂可以升高大鼠体内的性激素水平 ,从而达到治疗牙周炎的目的。
Objective: To evaluate effects of the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) on sexual hormones in rats with periodontal disease(PD) and to probe the mechanisms. Methods: Eighty 10-months-old SD rats were randomized into 3 groups,of which 16 served as control,40 rats were in PD comparison group,24 in intervention group.The rats were killed in five geriods:after PD model finished;before TCM treatment,on the day after TCM treatment;on the sixth week and the eighteenth week after TCM treatment.The level of estradiol and testosterone in the peripheral blood was measured using radioimmunoassay.We also observed living status of rats in every phase over the study period. Results: The levels of sexual hormones in rats with periodontal disease were significantly lower compared with normal rats and were significantly higher in PD rats treated with TCM as compared with those receiving placebo. Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine can increase levels of sexual hormones in rats with periodontal disease.
