The change of the water saturation of cores caused by the degasification in sealing core drilling is measured through laboratory simulation experiment. The relationships between pre-degassing and post-degassing water saturation of sandstone reservoir under different waterflooded situation and the effect of different gas/oil ratios on the loss of the water saturation of cores are presented. A flowsheet for the correction of water saturation is proposed. The correction formula of the water saturation of the cores from the major reservoir of Jing 271 well in Huabei Oilfield is presented.
