摘要
本文报告108例颈椎损伤合并截瘫病例。其中全瘫78例,不全瘫30例;死亡24例。对颈髓损伤后出现的呼吸衰竭及其它并发症的治疗进行了讨论。
This article concerns 108 injuried patients who were subjected to cervical spine injury associated with paraplegia. Among them, 78 cases had complete paraplegia, 30 cases incomplete paraplegia. Tweenty-four cases died as a result of respiratory failure. How to deal with respiratory failure is mainly involved in this paper because it has been documanted to be a chief killer in early stage of the injury. Emergency tracheotomy and assisted respiration should be carried out without delay if 4th segment of cervical spine or above was involved. Other complications, such as bradycardia, hypotension, and hemorrhage of gastrointestinal tract are discu sed herewith.
