摘要
庞大的灌溉系统是红河流域梯田农业的基石,也是红河流域农业文明的重要标志。千百年来红河流域各民族人民依据当地的自然环境特征,构筑了一个自然环境、人居、梯田三位一体的生存系统,这其中最根本的是对水的科学认识与利用。当地人民在长期发展过程中所形成的认识、利用、保护水资源的文化在未来的可持续发展中仍然具有重要价值。
The colossal irrigation system is not just the footstone of the terrace agriculture, but also is the symbol of the agricultural civilization in the reaches of Red River. Based on the geographical characters, the local ethnic peoples have built a subsistence system combined with environment, inhabitancy and terraces. The high values for sustainable development in the future lie in the culture of understanding, using and protecting water formed by local people in the history.
