摘要 魏斯曼是德国的遗传学家,也是新达尔文主义的代表人物。他认为,多细胞生物体可截然区分为种质和体质,种质有三个结构层次:生源体、决定子和遗子。种质选择论很有新意,极富辩证法思想。魏斯曼首次彻底否定获得性遗传。另外,把种质的稳定性和变异性结合起来的观点是他对遗传学的又一贡献。 August Weismann, in his The Germ—plasm, holds that germ plasm and soma are separated from each other absolutely in multicellular creatures, and that three structure levels exist in germ plasm: biophor, determinant and id. His germinal selection theory is pregnant with novelty and dialectic ideas. He is the first man who has denied the inheritance of acquired characters. His another contribution to genetics is combination of stability with variability.
