摘要
CAB数据库是国际联机情报检索中检索农业课题最常用的数据库之一,本文着重介绍、分析了DIALOG系统中CAB数据库文献记录的结构、检索点及子文档代码的应用。指出在文献记录的二十四个字段中,能够表达文献内容特征的主要字段,以及予文档代码可以做为一种检索途径。
CAB data base is one of the most commonly employed data base for retrieval of agricultural programmes in the international inline retrieval system. This paper discusses and analyses the structure of the CAB data base of the DIALOG system, its retrieval point and the application of subcodes. The most important fields are identified from among the 24 fields, which are able to describe the features of the document. It is also suggested that the subcodes can be applied as means for retrieval.
