摘要
石刻资料和传统文献表明 ,辽代家庭生活中有着广泛的佛教文化的影响 ,这种影响可以归纳为以下四个方面 :第一 ,在思想上 ,拔苦灭罪、行善积德、祈祥增福、报恩尽孝这样以佛为本、儒释相融的观念成为主流 ;第二 ,在家庭财产的处置上 ,出现了组织佛教邑社和捐资修建寺院、佛塔 ,刊刻佛经等助佛现象 ;第三 ,在日常行为上 ,除了剃度出家以外 ,还出现了大量的居家念佛、诵经立幢的现象 ;第四 ,在生活习俗上 ,生子取名用佛号、妇女化妆用佛装 (妆 )、节日庆典遵佛诞等成为时尚。到了辽代中后期 。
Stone inscriptions and traditional literature show that the family lives in Liao Dynasty are widely influenced by Buddhist culture, and these influences may be summed up as four respects. From the ideological perspective, there prevail such ideas as exterminating hardships and sins, doing good deeds, praying for blessings, and repaying obligations and fulfilling filial duties, ideas that conceive Buddha as the noumenon and fuse Buddhism and Confucianism as an organic whole. From the angle of disposing family properties, one could read the recordings of organizing Buddhist societies, donating to construct temples and stupas, and inscribing sutras. With respect to daily behaviors, there also appear, besides tonsuring, the popular phenomena of family praying, chanting and erecting chuang (usu. stone pillars inscribed with the name of the Buddha or incantations). And for the custom, it is fashionable for a child to name after Buddha, for women to dress in Buddhist style, and for setting up feasts and pageants to follow Buddha's birth date. Up till the middle and late Liao, such influences are typically embodied in the family lives of the Han masses.
