摘要
作为宽带无线接入的新生力量,无线城域网技术WiMAX越来越受到人们的关注。本文从WiMAX的技术标准IEEE802.16系列规范出发,分析了WiMAX技术的特点和体系结构,并对其应用解决方案进行了描述。
As the new comer of broadband wireless access technology, WiMAX is being paid more and more attention. In this article, the concept of WiMAX and the contents of IEEE 802.16 standards are introduced. Analysis of its architecture and advantages show that WiMAX will be well applied in the carrier networks.
