In allusion to the issue that is of high wastage and frequent replacing in die casting process, its material and manufacture process have been improved. Then the high temperature intensity, hardness and wear resistance of improved plunger are better than the plunger of spheroidal graphite cast iron, at the same time, its life-span has been increased about 50 times than the plunger of spheroidal graphite cast iron.
