摘要
视频中的文字为视频的检索、编码、分类等提供了许多重要的信息。论文介绍了一种基于先验知识和机器学习的文本定位方法。利用彩色视频图像的边缘信息和先验知识得到备选文本区域;用多通道Gabor滤波器提取备选区域特征,通过BP网络验证备选文本区域。
Text embedded in video can provide important information for index,encoding,classification and so on.In this paper we present a text location algorithm based on heuristic knowledge and machinery learning.By color image's edge information and heuristic constrains we extract the candidate text blocks;then properly tuned multi-channels Gabor filters are applied to extract candidate text blocks' feature,and the trained BP Network to identify the candidate block.
