一种改进的MPEG4精细可伸缩编码方法

An Improved Coding Method Based on MPEG4 FGS

摘要 提出了一种改进的 MPEG 4精细可伸缩编码方法 ( IFGS)。在增强层编码中 ,IF GS增加一个高质量的参考来作为预测补偿 ,然后利用 DCT残差系数的相关性来消除数据冗余。试验结果表明本文提出的改进方法比原来的 F This paper proposes an improved approach that based on MPEG4 FGS, named IFGS Unlike the FGS scheme, the IFGS scheme provides much high quality prediction reference frames in enhancement layer coding, and eliminates the data redundancies by the correlation of the DCT residue coefficients Experimental results show the improved method is higher coding efficiency than that of the original FGS in MPEG4
