摘要
目的调查深圳市宝安区50岁及以上人群中白内障患病率、手术覆盖率和手术前后的视力改善情况,以此了解白内障患病情况及评价2a来深圳市眼科医院在该区实施以白内障手术治疗为主的防盲治盲工作的效果。方法2001-08/2003-08采用整群随机抽样方法对宝安区抽取10个调查点3428例50岁及以上人群进行视力和眼部检查;了解接受白内障手术的情况。结果3428例受检者中,白内障患病率为29.64%。随着年龄的增加,白内障患病率明显增高。而且女性的白内障患病率较男性高,为33.74%。白内障手术能明显提高患者的视力。白内障致盲率和致残率分别由术前的40.97%和54.06%降为术后的0.61%和5.38%。结论白内障仍是高龄者的致盲眼病,手术是患者改善视力的首选。
AIM: To investigate the prevalence of cataract, surgical coverage among adults aged 50 or above in Baoan District of Shenzhen, China, and the melioration of eyesight after surgery, so as to evaluate the cataract status and the efficacy of the blindness prevention program in recent 2a.· METHODS: Cluster sampling was used in randomly selected individuals aged 50 or above in 10 villages in Baoan District from October, 2001 to October, 2003. A total of 3 824 individuals received visual acuity test and eye examination, including lens examination by slit lamp. The cataract operation status was also evaluated.· RESULTS: The prevalence of cataract was 29.64% among adults aged 50 or above. The prevalence of cataract increased with age. The prevalence of cataract in women was 33.74%, which was significantly higher than that in men. The cataract operation could greatly improve the eyesight. The rate of cataract-caused blindness and that of cataract-caused handicapped was decreased from 40.97% and 54.06% to 0.61% and 5.38% respectively.· CONCLUSION: Cataract-caused blindness is still a serious public health problem in elder, and cataract operation is the first and best choice to improve eyesight of cataract patients. ·
