Comparison of Procalcitonin(PCT) and C-Reactive Protein as Diagnostic Markers of Sepsis

摘要 目的:比较血清降钙素原(PC7)和C-反应蛋白(CRP)对脓毒症的诊断价值。方法:以最终临床诊断为金标准,计算以不同浓度作为截断点时PCT和CRP的灵敏度、特异性及尤登指数。结果:PCT的特异性和诊断准确性高于CRP,其灵敏度较CRP低。结论:PCT测定诊断脓毒症的较好指标。 Objective:To compare the value of serum procalcitonin (PCT) and C-Reactive protein (CRP) in diagnosis of sepsis. Methods:The sensitivity and specificity and Youden index were calculated according to different levels of cutoff score.in response to the final clinical diagnosis as golden standard. Results: PCT had a higher specificity and accuracy than CRP, but lower sensitivity. Conclusion : PCT routinely measurements could be used as an effectie diagnostic marker of sepsis. PCT is a better marker of sepsis than CRP.
