摘要
欧洲货币一体化的成功为东亚货币合作提供了典范 ,但与欧盟相比 ,东亚国家目前仍不具备组建最优货币区的条件 ,东亚货币合作目前仍处于初级的准备阶段 ,东亚各国必须加强政治协商与经济合作 ,缩小经济发展的差异 。
The success of the EMU sets a good example for East Asian countries in their monetary cooperation. However, in comparison with the EMU, East Asian countries have fewer favorable conditions to form Optimum Currency Areas. Actually, East Asian monetary cooperation is now at the primary stage of preparation. East Asian countries must strengthen political and economic cooperation to reduce gradually the differences in economic development among them and accelerate the pace of monetary cooperation.
