摘要
随着Web上信息的快速增长 ,如何能够准确快速地找到相关信息已经成为一个挑战 SESQ系统是一个面向特定领域的Web数据引擎 ,它可以通过领域Ontology实现对特定领域Web数据的搜索、提取、集成和存储 与搜索引擎和传统的数据库系统相比 ,SESQ系统在数据模型和底层数据存储策略等方面有着诸多不同 SESQ系统根据自身特点提出了一种新的查询优化策略 ,这种优化策略可以适用于不同的底层存储方法 。
The explosion of information on the Web turns the search for interested information from the Web into a great challenge The system called Web data engine—SESQ(Search Extract Storage Query) is designed to solve this problem by using the specific domain ontology to search, extract, store and query the domain Web data In contrast with traditional database systems and search engines, SESQ is different in data model, query expression, data storage schema, and the use of index So a new query processing scheme is needed to tackle these features In SESQ, a query optimizing scheme based on the underlying storage schema is proposed It is proved that the scheme is very efficient by experiments because it could predict the data that will not make any contribution to the final query result
