摘要
采用大学英语四级考试的整体评分方法,从语篇性的9个方面(衔接、连贯、意图性、可接受性、信息性、情景性、篇章支配主题、语类结构和内容的完整性)对200篇大学英语四级考试作文的语篇性进行评估。评估结果表明,学生的四级作文的语篇性不足(总体平均值为51.15,百分比为56.83%);通过对语篇性9个要素的分数值大小的比较,作者发现这些作文在衔接、连贯、可接受性、内容的完整性等方面失误较为严重。这反映了学生的语篇知识缺乏,语篇能力较差,同时也说明了大学英语教学大纲须进一步地完善,写作教学方法应加以改进。
Adopting the global scoring method for CET4 compositions,this article makes an assessment of the textuality of 200 CET4 compositions from nine aspects of textuality (cohesion, coherence, intentionality, acceptability,informativity,situationality, dominant text theme,generic structure, and unity in content).The assessment results manifest the less textuality of students' CET4 compositions (The overall average value of the textuality of 200 CET4 compositions is 51.15, its percentage is 56.83%).By a comparison of the values of the 9 textuality components,it has been found that the failures in cohesion,coherence,acceptability,and unity in content are comparatively grave.This reflects that students go short of textual knowledge and that their textual competence is poor.It also indicates that the current college English teaching syllabus leaves something to be desired and that there is a need to improve the approaches to the teaching of writing.
