摘要
科学与人文作为人类把握世界的两种基本方式,在思维模式、精神气质、文化内涵、价值取向等方面都存在着巨大的反差,具有相互不可归约的独立存在的价值。但科学与人文又并非绝然对立的,它们既相异区别,又同源共生、和合统一。科学与人文皆源于人对自由的追求,它们都是反映人的类特性的自由自觉的活动,都是确证人的自由本质的实践方式。
Science and humanities are two basic ways of human being comprehending the nature. There is tremendous difference between science and humanities in many aspects such as pattern of thinking, quality of spirit, meaning of culture and orientation of value. They are not only independent but also irreducible each other. It is completely wrong to set science against humanities, because they are different in one side but they have same origination in the other side. They exist in a harmonious way and cooperate each other to unite as a whole. Both science and humanities originate from human being to seek and yearn freedom. Both of them are free and conscious activities that reflect characteristics of human being. Both of them are practical ways that proves convincingly free essence of human being.
