摘要
《切韵》音系的性质问题,是关系到汉语音韵学研究的根本性、全局性问题,但这个问题远未得到最后解决,六十年代和八十年代两次对《切韵》音系性质的讨论是不彻底的。造成这一不彻底的原因在于,讨论《切韵》音系的性质应该包括四个方面的内容。第一,《切韵》究竟是个综合体系还是单一体系?第二,《切韵》是如何把多种体系“综合”进一个体系的?第三,怎么理解作为综合体系的《切韵》与分成四“等”的韵图间的关系?第四,综合体系条件下如何处理古音构拟问题?而前两次讨论中双方都只把主要精力放在在第一、至多第二个问题上,这是综合体系论者未能坚持住自己的立场的根本原因。本文努力从这四个方面都给出完整的解释。文章在引言之外,共分四个部分,即是从这四个方面来阐述综合体系的立场。
The nature of Qie Yun(切韵) is of vital and all-round importance in the study of historical Chinese phonology, and also an unsolved problem for so many years since the first half of the last century. The two debates of the 1960s and 1980s on this topic have by no means solved the problem and have left yet four questions for scholars to consider: 1) Is Qie Yun(切韵) after all a one-dialect-based system or a multi-dialect-based system? 2) How can the author of Qie Yun(切韵) synthesize so many different dialects into one complete system? 3) What's the relation between Qie Yun(切韵) as a synthetic system and the Rhyme Tables that have four 'divisions'? 4) How to reconstruct the sound system of Qie Yun (切韵) if it is of synthetic nature? The present paper tries to give answers to all these four problems.
