The device for measuring Young's Modulus of the little sample material has been designed. It consists of two systems: the hardware and the software. The work for setting up and checking the standard is carried out. The Young's Modulus of SiC layers of coated fuel particles for HTGR are measured. The measuring accuracy of the device is within±0. 005N for the force and ±0. 5μm for the displacement.
