摘要
报告了掺钕聚苯乙烯(Nd/PS)制备,以及利用红外光谱、扫描电镜和热分析探讨样品的结构与性质的初步结果。
Polystyrene adulterated neodymium isopropoxide (Nd/PS) was prepared and it's properties and structures were studied by means of IR, SEM, DTA, and TG. SEM photographs of Nd/PS display that a few neodymium isopropoxides dissolve in PS and large ones exist in the form of aggregates whose diameters are about 3~5 μm in PS, these indicate that neodymium isoproxide has poor compatibility with PS. Studies of DTA and TG show that, Tg, starting decoposition temperature, and the temperature corresponding with highest decomposition rate of Nd/PS increase 21℃, 15℃, and 14℃ respectively, as compared with PS. The results indicate that the thermostability of PS increases by introduced rare earth elements.
