摘要
本文对中国山西、河北、内蒙古南部、大、小兴安岭、长白山及新疆等地区的215号棕背(鼠平)(Clethrionomys rufocanus)标本的外形和头骨的形态进行了亚种分化研究,认为分布于山西、河北、内蒙古南部棕背(鼠平)的亚种为Clethrionomys rufocanus shanseius(Thomas);大、小兴安岭及新疆地区的亚种为Cl.r.irkutensis(Ognev);而将分布于长白山地区的亚种定为一新亚种——棕背(鼠平)长白山亚种(Clethrionomys rufocanus changbaishanensis)。
According to the study on 219 specimens of Clethrionomy rufocanus collected from northern China, we have come to the conclusion that there are three subspecies belonging to this vole. Among them, one is considered as a new subspecies to Science, which we propose to name as:Clethrionomys rufocanus changbaishanensis subsp, nov.(fig 1)Holotype (?), registry number 22195, ed., collected on September 21, 1981 from Antu county, Jilin province, 42°34'N, 128°19'E.Allotype ♀, 22190, ad., same locality as holotype.Paratypes 4(?) (03863, 04153, 04197, 04192), ad., collected from Fusong county, Jilin province, 42°20'N; 127°16'E, April to May, 1955; 7♀♀(04052, 04070, 04072, 04124, 04145, 04146, 04445), ad., same locality as above.All of the type-specimens are deposited in The Collection Museum of Mammals, Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica.The new subspecies is distinguished from Cl. r. shanseius and Cl. r. irkutensis by lacking definite demarcation between the fur color of the back and sides of the body, and from Cl. r. regulus mainly by having molar roots and without the fourth outer salient angle of M^3
