摘要
并行系统的性能评价对于完善系统和提高系统性能具有重要作用。本文首先扼要地讨论并行系统中影响程序并行加速效果的因素,然后提出平均并行度μ_(ave)的分析方法,从理论上分析并行抽象机PAM/TGR所能开发的平均并行度,并与实测结果进行比较。其次讨论超越加速和病态加速两种在并行多机系统中可能出现的加速现象。在此基础之上,基于典型的Benchmark测试和评价并行图重写抽象机PAM/TGR的性能,最后给出一些基准程序在PAM/TGR上的运行性能与国外同类系统性能的比较。
Performance evaluation is very important for improving the performance of parallel systems.In this paper,firstly,the primary factors that affect the parallel execution efficiency of programs are briefly discussed.Then an analysis method of average parallel degree μave is presented.Furthermore,the performance of PAM/TGR machine on a transputer array is tested and evaluated,and over/lower acceleration phenomena are also exploited and discussed.The results show that good acceleration effects and high utiliza-ton ratio of processors have been obtained,the lower speedup can also be avoided with PAM/TGR machine effectively.The PAM/TGR machine has higher performance compared with related parallel systems abroad.
