摘要
克拉姆在他的组曲《远古童声》中使用了拼贴的手法,利用人声、乐器声的不同组合和非常规的发声方法以及风格的兼容并蓄,体现了音色对比、材料并置和风格兼容的特点。与传统创作中以音高作为表现手段的方法不同,他尝试了以音色作为主要的表现目的。这首组曲为20世纪70年代新音色的创作做了探索,是现代拼贴音乐的重要作品。
Using the technique of combination, Crumb displays, in his suite Ancient Voices of Children, the characteristic oftimbre contrast, fodder juxtaposition and style amalgamation through varied combinations of human and instrumental voices,unconventional vocalization and stylistic integration. Instead of applying pitch as a means of expression in traditional composition,he tries to treat timbre as a major end of expression. As an exploration in the neo-timbre composition during the 1970s of the20th century, this suite deserves to be an important work of modern combination music.
