摘要
对长江三峡地区的远安断裂、钟祥断裂和黄腊石——链子崖外围断裂的气汞含量测试结果表明:断裂所在部位(包括第四纪沉积物复盖区)均不同程度地出现气汞异常,高出背景值2—19倍。观测结果可用来确定第四纪沉积物复盖区断裂的位置和可见断裂的活动性。
The measured results of mercury-vapour containt in the Yangtze Gorges area show that there are mercury-vapour anomolies in varying degrees in Yuan'an fault, Zhongxiang fault and the faults surrounding Huanglashi--Lianziya region, including the sites covered with quaternary sediment,and that the measured values are larger 2~19 times than the empirical values. So it is possible to determine a sitting of fault covered with Quaternary sediment and its activity by means of measurement of mercury-vapour containt.
