摘要
英语写作是大学非英语专业本科生的一项重要学习内容.应该从大学英语写作教学的现状出发,对大学英语写作教学的目的、内容、评价手段等相关教学环节进行了认真的理论思考和实践探索.大学非英语专业本科生的英语写作教学的目的,在现阶段应该首先是通过写作帮助学生复习、巩固、运用所学的英语语言知识,而不是侧重写作内容和写作技巧的培养.同时,评分标准应该以语言运用正确性为主,写作内容和技巧为辅.在教学内容上应该增加应用文的比例,并开设写作课.
College English Writing is one of the most important courses for undergraduates of specialities other than the English language. This article, in view of the present condition of college English writing instruction, discusses the related aspects such as the purpose, contents and evaluation mathod of this course. Based on theoretical study and practical experience, the article suggests that, at present, the purpose of the college English writing course for undergraduates of non-English language specialities should be,first of all, to help students review, solidify and use the English language that they have learned rather than lay emphasis upon the organization of writing materials and the training of writing skills, that the evaluation of writing instruction should pay major attention to the correctness of the use of the English language, and that more teaching hours should be given to English writing for business, technical, tourist and other practical purposes.
