The underground powerhouse of Baise multipurpose dam project is accommodated in the diabase body which ranks rockmass of class II and class III, with class III as major. In view of the geological and structural characteristics, the existing construction channels as well as the capacity of construction equipment, seven construction layers are designed featuring parallel excavation and interlayer working.
