摘要
围棋，本是中国古代文化中的独特景观，现在日趋成为各国喜闻乐道的文化体育活动。通过史料考证，发现围棋的萌芽孕育于中国独具特色的田猎活动之中，其兴衰和主流文化的接纳与否紧密相连。
Weiqi (Go), the 'ingenious divined wonder', was originated in China. It has a close relationwith the Chinese ancient culture. In the world today, Weiqi has become more and more popular and is asport and a cultural entertainment. Therefore, the history of Weiqi is an important subject of the studyof the history of Chinese culture and sports. Through his research work, the author puts forward hisnew viewpoint on the origin of Weiqi. Weiqi began to bud in the hunting activities in the primitivesociety in China, and had taken shape in the period of 'slash and burn' farming. The author has alsoinvestigated the process of how Weiqi became a cultural formation and entered the realm of the Chinesetraditional culture after the Eastern Han Dynasty.
