城市是人类生产、生活和文明成果的集中体现场所,是人类社会文明和发达的象征,它是一个综合体,不仅人口集中,而且也是区域政治、经济、文教、科技的中心,在国民经济中占有十分重要的地位,建设可持续发展的现代化生态型城市是人类追求的一个目标。
A city is the centralized reflection of human achievements in production, life and civilization, and stands for the civilization and development of human society. It is an integrated complex combining its centralized population with its important position in national economy,and it is alsoa regional centre of politics,economy,culture,education,science and technology. Therefore, building a modernized ecological city of sustainable growth is a long - term goal for mankind to achieve.
