摘要
本文从全息传释（ｈｏｌｏｐｉｓｉｏｎ）诸平面分析汉诗英译的局限性、特别强调了汉诗形象叠现的紧张度、意指过程的自由度和语言的高度简炼性──这些因素使汉诗英译难以达到全息传释的要求。
This paper expounds the limitations in translating Chinese poetry into English seen from the various aspects of holoprision, and gives a particular introduction tothe following concepts as of tension of images' compounding, freedom in the signifyingprocess and the highly succinct style, which all prevent the translation of Chinese poemsinto English from achieving the goal of 'holoprision
