摘要
设计并制作了一种用于中低精度光纤陀螺系统的850nm超辐射发光二极管,对器件的波导模式进行了分析,给出了主要技术参数的设计和测试结果。实验结果表明,器件的波长为852.8nm,光谱半宽为26nm,100mA工作电流下,管芯输出功率大于4.5mW,保偏光纤输出功率大于200μW。
The 850 nm superluminescent diodes(SLDs) used for fiber optic gyro with moderate accuracy is designed and fabricated. The waveguide mode of the SLD is analyzed. The peak wavelength and spectrum width of the device is 852.8 nm and 26 nm, respectively.At work current of 100 mA, the output powers of the devices with and without polarization-maintained optical fiber are greater than 4.5 mW and greater than 200 μW, respectively.
