摘要
文章阐述了双体气垫船的优点及其在国内外的技术发展现状,预测了台湾海峡两岸客运通航后可能产生的巨大客运潜力。分析了台湾海峡的海情和双体气垫船的航海性能,从而提出发展500t级高速双体车客渡船运行于台湾海峡的可能性,并预测其将有较大的社会效益和经济效益。
This paper describes the advantage and the state of art of the air cushion catamaran both at home and abroad, and predictes that there is a great potential on the passenger water transportation across the Taiwan Strait in the near future. The sea state statistics of the Taiwan Strait and the seakeeping quality on the air cushion catamaran have been analysed for the feasibility study on high speed passenger-car air cushion catamaran with all up weight of about 500t operating across the Taiwan Strait. It is shown that'both the great social and economical benefits would be obtained from such project.
