摘要 中国理工科大学英语教学中的精泛读课程并非真正意义上的阅读教学。从认知心理学对理解和记忆的理论分析角度看,组织策略的应用可以促进阅读过程中的理解和记忆,并进而提高阅读的效率;学生在阅读过程中运用组织策略可以提高他们的词汇推断能力,综合概括能力,信息记忆能力和分析推断能力,因此在中国理工科大学英语阅读教学中实施组织策略教学,可以达到快速提高学生英语阅读能力和其他相关能力的教学目的。 The intensive and extensive English reading courses in Chinese science and engineering universities are not really reading courses in its literal meaning.From the viewpoint of cognitive theory,the use of organi- zational strategies can enhance comprehension and memory in reading and improve reading efficiency.Students can improve their word inferential ability,generalization ability,information memorizing ability and analytical ability through usage of organizational strategies.Hence,in Chinese science and engineering universities,im- plementation of organizational strategies in teaching English reading can quickly improve students'reading a- bility and other relative abilities.
