由于离婚、分居、未婚生育子女及各种意外的频发,造成单亲家庭数量在急剧攀升。又由于单亲家庭陷入贫穷的风险较其他形态家庭高,加上其经济收益低下可能导致社会成本的增加,容易对社会的整体发展带来各种负面影响。所以,单亲家庭呈现增多的趋势已成为澳门特区所关注的重要问题。
