摘要
“原型”一词古已有之 ,其内涵在不同的理论中有不同的解释。文学理论内部的阐释也不尽相同。在文学批评呈现综合性文化批评态势的今天 ,对“原型”一词的本质内涵进行重新阐释是十分必要的。综观“原型”一词所获得过的种种阐释可以发现 ,无限共时性、恒久历时性是它的两个基本特征。因此 ,“原型”本质上是人类早年经历中所蕴含着的后世一切文化的基因。赋予“原型”这样一种新的阐释 ,对于区分“原型”与“象征”、“意象”、“模式”、“神话母题”和“仪式”这些相关概念 ,以及原型批评和神话批评 ,乃至世界文化圈的划分都大有裨益 ,“原型”批评的独特价值亦可更切实地得以实现。
The word ″archetype″ has a long history and attracted different explanations both in cultural and literary theories. Today, with the various polemics in literary criticism, it is necessary to re explain the essence of archetypes in literary theories. Basically speaking,an archetype is both synchronic and diachronic. Therefore, it is the gene of later cultures which has been hidden in the earlier human's experiences. A further exploration of this term is necessary to distinguish it from other related literary terms, such as, symbols, images, models, the motifs of mythology and rituals. It could also be significant for archetype and mythology studies and even for the division of the literary world.
