摘要
显现是乔伊斯酷爱运用的创作手法之一 ,本文通过对显现特定含义的解释、对显现理论基础的阐述以及对乔氏作品中显现手法的运用特色的分析 ,论证了乔氏前期作品中显现手法运用的独创性。
Epiphany is one of the writing techniques J. Joyce most frequently used in his novels. And the way of using it is characterized by originality and ingenuity. By explaining the specific meanings of epiphany used in his novels, expounding its theoretical basis and analyzing the special features of his application, this paper demonstrates how epiphany is uniquely and creatively used in Joyce's earlier works. The epiphany used by J. Joyce is one of the most precious glittering jewels in the treasure house of writing techniques employed in modernist literature.
